Short Term Mission Opportunities
Medical Missions
Friends of Grace offers short-term medical and dental mission opportunities. Please refer to our newsletters and news for the upcoming mission trips.
Target patients of the medical and dental mission trips are:
- Local Christian workers. One way to support local evangelism is to strengthen the local Christian workers’ health.
- Local people – our free medical and dental services attract non-Christians to the churches. Local Christian workers take these opportunities to evangelize to the patients while they wait for the services.
Short-term medical trips to Mexico typically last 4 to 5 days. Trips to other areas typically last 2 weeks. Medical training is not required for participants.
English Teaching Missions
Friends of Grace offers short-term English teaching mission opportunities in the summer.
Target students of the English courses are local non-Christian students, from 6 years old to high school students.
The Bible is used as English course materials.
These opportunities are open to adults, high school and college students. We prefer prospective teachers to be native English speakers. Please refer to our news for the upcoming mission trips.
Participants of the mission trips need to fund their own expenses.
