Text Box: To whom it may concern,               From 7/16-7/23, 2003, two short-term mission team members, Dr. Hanson Wong and Brother Stephen Tang, came to Sao Paulo, Brazil to offer free medical services.  Within that week, they had been to Sao Paulo Chinese Alliance Church, Campinas Chinese Alliance Church, and a Presbyterian church in Mogi das Cruzes and had offered free medical services to over 300 Chinese immigrants.  They worked over 10 hours everyday and when Dr. Wong was seeing patients, the co-workers and brothers and sisters from the local church would help register the patients, explain about the medical procedures that might be involved.  Brother Stephen Tang and other brothers and sisters would share with those who were waiting to be seen their testimonies and the gospel.  Quite a few people started to know about the church and some came to know the truth and had accepted the Lord.  At night and on weekend, Dr. Wong also held workshops on different health related topics.  During the workshops, Dr. Wong talked about healthy eating habits and how to maintain good health, using principles from God’s Word.  Those workshops were very helpful to us.  On Sunday, Dr. Wong and Brother Tang led the praise and worship services and Dr. Wong also preached the message.  They shared some new praise and worship songs with us.  They were very enthusiastic and charismatic.  The brothers and sisters of our church enjoyed their songs very much and all opened our hearts to worship the Lord together.  Brother Tang also shared with us about their Friends of Grace Inc. ministry—their services in China and Thailand.  Brothers and sisters and friends were all very touched by their short term mission work.  They have very good career and life in the United States but they still sacrifice their money, time and comfortable life style to go to some needy countries every year to share the gospel and offer free medical care to people.  Most of the attendants of our church are new immigrants and when they saw the love that Dr. Wong and Brother Tang demonstrated through their sacrifices, they were very touched.               I sincerely recommend Dr. Wong and Brother Tang from the Friends of Grace Inc. to you.  May the Lord abundantly bless you through them!               God bless!                                                                                         Sincerely yours,                                                                                         James Chung                                                                                     C&MA Missionary in Brazil
