About SEAN & TEE
SEAN, which stands for Study by Extension for All Nations, is part of the broader tradition of TEE (Theological Education by Extension, now also called Tools to Equip and Empower), whose core mission is that “Christians can receive theological and discipleship training in their life context.”

History & Origins
SEAN was founded by Tony Barratt, a member of the South American Missionary Society (SAMS). The ministry first began in the rural areas of southern Chile. Barratt realized that sending believers to seminaries or Bible colleges was not feasible for those in rural or working-class contexts. Instead, he adopted the concept of TEE:Training in place ~ enabling students to remain in their local communities while receiving theological education
